Simz is a product of AM International.

This Privacy Policy explains how AM International ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit simz.run or join our waitlist. Simz is a pre-launch QA testing platform, and this site currently exists to share what we are building and to let you register interest.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you join the waitlist or request early access, we collect the email address you submit and any other details you choose to include in that form or in a message to us.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you view. We also use analytics and session-recording tools that set cookies and collect usage data, described in "Analytics and session recording" below.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Add you to the waitlist and notify you when early access is available.
  • Send you product updates you have asked to receive.
  • Respond to your questions, feedback, and support requests.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the website.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

Analytics and session recording

By using this site, you agree to the analytics and session recording described here. We use third-party tools to understand how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it:

  • Google Analytics measures traffic and usage, such as pages viewed, referral source, approximate location, and device type. It sets cookies and processes data under Google's terms.
  • PostHog provides product analytics and session recording. Session recording captures how visitors interact with the site, such as page views, clicks, scrolling, and navigation, so we can find where the experience is confusing or broken. We take steps to avoid recording the contents of form fields, but please do not enter information into the site that you would not want recorded.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and you can limit tracking through your browser's privacy settings. Email us at mihirsodawalla01@gmail.com to ask us to stop associating analytics data with you.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers. We use third parties to run the site, including a form-processing service that delivers waitlist submissions to us (FormSubmit), a hosting provider that serves the site (Vercel), and analytics providers (Google Analytics and PostHog). They process data only to provide their service to us.
  • Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Simz or others.
  • Business transfers. If Simz is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Data retention

We keep waitlist and contact information for as long as needed to provide the service and the updates you asked for, or until you ask us to delete it. We may keep limited records where required for legal, security, or accounting purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, these rights are provided under the GDPR. If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and delete, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.

Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
